establishing shot, often used to transition nd show people geography and setting, its crucial. sets the tone, introductory, new location, essential details 


master shot confirms location and geography of scene, shows where characters are in relation to each other and who's in the scene, provides editor something to cut out too 


wide shot, usually concerned with spacing,  not location unlike establishing shot 


full shot, normally has a full shot of a character. 


medium full shot (cowboy shot) confident or confindational. 

medium ms, popular shot size, neutral shot, similar size of interactions, above waist. below the chet above head 

mcu, medium close up, limi distraction. intimate. without losing emotion and reaction


close up, eye level. dramatic, effective emotional 

extreme close up, isolate specific area, ear nose eyes highlight crucial things to the narrative 


Framing

singles - one character alone, primary focus, clean single no other character at all in frame, isolation. dirty ingle part of another character.

two shot - two characters, clearly visible faces, visible relationship 

three shot, four shot and so on.

tilt shift - striking visuals, bends light and distortion

fill light -


key and fill light together makes a high key light and exposure. Key light brighter then fill light create a low-key light.
